Erayim Aid Trust UK helps to promote the education of children in Kyrgyzstan both directly and through the professional development of their teachers, thereby improving opportunities for meaningful careers in the future. The Trust was created to support a local non-governmental organisation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Women’s Public Union Erayim enjoys a high reputation for probity, integrity and efficiency both at home and amongst its European and US donors. The Kyrgyz government provides active support if not financial assistance. Erayim Aid Trust UK remains independent of Erayim, while providing the funds and volunteers to run various educational projects in the country.

We are currently providing extra financial support for Erayim as they seek to alleviate extreme poverty due to the effects of the Covid-19 shutdown of the economy. Please contact us if you would like to make a special donation for this urgent cause.

The Erayim Aid Trust UK works to facilitate professional development for Kyrgyz teachers of English, who are mostly women. A team of British educational professionals volunteers regularly in various parts of Kyrgyzstan in the delivery of a free, two-week course

We started the Gateway project in September 2018 to offer free tuition in English language and information technology to 96 disadvantaged children in two adjoining poor suburbs of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The project was made possible by grants.
